I started the Laughing Museum back in 1984 in Paris . I had a workshop on L’ile st Louis and was creating  weird looking  sculpture for tourists .In 1986 i took my laughing museum sculptures to New York for an exhibtion called point of departure .   I also slowly started to integrate body casting sculptures with my “Tribe” pieces to complement displays .
